Leadership among women

Leadership means the process of leading people towards right track to achieve a goal. Women are always ready to take responsibility and also capable of granting authority. Patience, decision-making and problem solving capacities are the main qualities of a leader and these qualities are imparted in women as they grow.
  •  A women leader can build a better working environment like our mothers, who create better living environment.
  • A women leader can guide the team in a proper manner.
  • Women also take care of themselves from their childhood.

Let us take the example of Chandra kochhar, MD and CEO, ICICI Bank:

One of the most powerful and inspiring leaders in India Inc, Chanda Kochhar is credited for shaping the retail-banking sector in India and steering the ICICI Group through the difficult times.

An extremely focused person, Chanda Kochchar who heads ICICI Bank, began her career as a management trainee in 1984 and successfully rose through the ranks.

She has been named a ‘Woman of Power’ by the Asian Business Leadership Forum.. She was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the government for her services to the banking sector.

Generally, experience makes a man perfect, for a woman she does not apply the theoretical knowledge but for that she takes the practicality of any situation into account and hits the targets hard to achieve the right decision on right time.

Women also posses the qualities and knowledge as men do and they can lead the country in the most effective and efficient manner. A woman always believes in the words “Challenges are what make life interesting, overcoming that makes life meaningful”. A woman will be the candle of tomorrow’s darkness.
